VIDEO: Two ladies dies in abuja over covid 19 palliative

Two women died in a stampede as they were struggling for COVID-19 palliatives in Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Monday 26 October

 According to reports, the women, like many others, ran to a warehouse located on Secretariat Road in Gwagwalada area council in Abuja after information went viral that some COVID19 palliatives were stored there.

 As they were struggling for the food items, they fell down and were trampled upon by the crowd who were also fighting to take away items.

 One lady amongst the people was rushed to the General hospital in Gwagwalada where she was confirmed dead.

 Facebook user, Oraegbune Emmanuella shared photos of the lady online with a call for anyone who knows her family members to go to the hospital. In her recent post, Emmauela says that the family of the lady has been contacted and they have identified her corpse.

According to reports, the unidentified lady, like many others, ran to a warehouse located on Secretariat Road in Gwagwalada area council in Abuja after receiving information that some COVID19 palliatives were stored there. Sadly, she collapsed while she was scampering for the palliatives. She was rushed to the St. Mary hospital in Gwagwalada where she confirmed dead. Efforts are now being made to locate her family members. Another lady also died in the stampede today.
